Wouldn't hurt. Not too expensive and it's an easy additional step during the clutch swap.

P.S. Don't forget to resurface your flywheel and install a new pilot bearing/bushing.

A new GM slave is 144.52 from SDPC. You'll have to call them to check their inventory.

Yeah, but Autozone LUK units do not come with a new t/o bearing. I wouldn't get one from them.

i replace the slave cylinder and pilot bearing with every clutch job... with that kinda mileage it should be a no brainer...replace it now, and save yourself the headache later.

I've actually since switched to a pilot "bushing" instead of the regular needle bearing... it was recommended to me by clutchmasters and got rid of the "squealing" and seemed to provide smoother engagements. Doesn't tear up to **** like the needle bearings do either...

And? You put one of those lifetime parts(starter, alternator, fuel pump) and yes you will have a life time warranty and you'd better save that receipt, cuz your gonna be replacing it every few months.
