Very simple. I'm just replacing the head unit and speakers. I had actually planned to find the best components for the car, but the person was impatient and bought whatever. I'll find out tomorrow what brand and type everything is. The person wanted good sound with a good amount of base without going to a subwoofer, but I think he got Best Buy "expert" help and I don't believe he got what he needed. Oh well.
Just wire in the headunit and speakers like you normally would, the factory amp can handle a line in from the headunit. If you go to some of these "pro" audio shops, they'll tell you that you need a PAC OEM II or something similar, don't listen to that. Although if your customer wants a quality system, I would rewire the whole system with a quality amp, headunit, and speakers.
Yeah. This person only bought the head unit and speakers. No amp. As mentioned before, I don't even know the brand or quality yet of any of the items. I'll just make do with what's there. If it's not what he wanted, too bad. He should have been patient, not my fault.

Here is the link to Bimmer Forums that I have used for my E46. It has helped me with my bimmer just like LS1tech has for the SS.
BMW's are some what more complicated than F-bodies, so please do your homework first.
