Big thanks to the CMS crew again for another job well done, and on very short notice.
I shattered the diff in my 12-bolt two Saturdays ago at the SCEDA event in Fontana, pushed the car back off the line, loaded it onto a car trailer (different story, and needed about 4 beers to recover from that one) and called Ryne - from the track. Two hours later it was at CMS and they had it apart immediately, diagnosed the problem (the little fragmented remains of the posi didn't require a forensic evaluation) and we had parts on order. Now I'm ready with the 4.10's and a spool, which should now hold up to ST clutch launches.
While there, I had them fab up a cool simple exhaust system (3" Y into 4" with Mag muffler, dumped) to free up some weight. It sounds pretty solid too. Neighbors gave me that "WTF did he do to that car now?" look, so I suppose it's a tad louder now.
Thanks again for the responsiveness and great service.

The car feels faster, but who knows? We'll know Saturday at the PSCA race. It does feel like the throttle response is a lot snappier. On the street it has no traction, so it's really hard to tell.
The weight savings alone should be worth a couple tenths IMO.
