Default cooling system flush

anyone know of a good place that does cooling system flush. My Radiator took a crap and i have tranny fluid in the system that i cant get out. Anyone work at a place or know of anyone reliable to go to.

Good thing you didn't get coolant inside the trans, lol.
Did you remove the (2) engine drain plugs to completely drain the engine block?
You could try removing your thermostat and run a hose to your water pump while the engine is running.

anyone at my work (sears) can do it for you.

Watch who you take it to, i know a shop who just opens up the radiator and then runs hose water through it then replaces the coolent. It is not worth what they charge.

we cycle new coolant through the system and suck out all the old with a machine, takes no more than 30 minutes

yea tried flushing it myself but its still pretty nasty.

yep it just nasty gunked up. just the water with the hose doesnt wash it out really.

maybe those super radiator flush chemicals? kinda sucks to get the oil residue out from the cooling system

+1 We use a chemical(I forget the name of it) but it works way better than just a straight flush.

Do you really think pouring water in a block contaminated with trans fluid with get it out? I sure hope you know water and oil don't mix.

You can have a shop use a flush machine with an additive that will break down gunk and petroleum-based fluids.
