pretty sure a "stock tune" is for a near stock car. a modified car costs more to tune, and you have your option of a MAF or SD tune for that.

ok the discriptions can be confusing, so i will clarify..

stock/bolt tune: generally requires very little maf,ve tuning, because the car is close to stock..

cam/heads, etc etc maf tune: requires alot more maf/ve tuning, but still retains the maf sensor as primary sensor for measuring airflow...

SD tunes ditch the maf entirely and require alot more work because all part throttle and full throttle airflow measurements are performed by the map sensor/ve table....

basically what you are paying for in each tune is how much work i have to perform.... the more work i have to perform the more you pay.... hope this clears things up for you
