Los Angeles Invasion - What would you Prefer? So I am looking at a couple of options for this coming year. Which would you rather see?
Option 1
Status Quo
Sat - Dyno Day
Sun- ROTW Cruise
Mon-Drag Racing/Car Show
Option 2
Sat - ROTW Cruise
Sun - TNT Drag Racing
Mon - TNT w/Bracket Racing (and small prise money)/Car Show
I want to appologize to everyone about last year for the flaws. We had Bikini girls and a DJ scheduled which flaked. Due to the economy and the last minute surge of signups the car show categories were comprimised. and a few other things. Thanksfully it turned out to be an alright event in the end.
I can tell you now, for 2010 we WILL have a Band again, we WILL have a DJ, we WILL have Bikini girls again and all the Car Show categories listed will all be awarded this year.

I think its cool how it is setup with the dyno day, cruise then TNT. Dyno days are cool but I think of it as more of an opertunity to hang out but it is better for the sponsors. I like the TNT alot more but it would be cool to see some grudge matches.

The way you did it this year was really good. Even though there was a bunch of stuff that didn't go right for you, my GF and I had a blast! The only thing that was kind of a let down was the video of the ROTW cruise never came out. I would have liked to see everyone blasting by the suburban on the way up the hill!

Well a couple of reasons I am lookin at option 2 with 2 days of drag racing is
1. we get so few days to use the track as is
2. the out of town visitors can then race on Sunday
they always worry about breaking the day they are driving home, this way they have a day to get fixed (hint ryne we should cooordinate to have a spare 10 bolt, driveshaft etc... handy)
3. The dyno is a small turnout relative to the rest of the weekend
If you notice we would have brackets on the Monday so everyone should be happy.

i vote for NO bracket racing.
you should keep it TNT like this year was... everybody is gonna be trying out new combos, as much seat time as possible would be cool.

There is virtually no power available at Fontana also it takes a truck to deliver it and then he said he needed water as well. The obsticles made it inpracticle.
If Ryne thinks he can do it running off a generator I would love to do it.
