LOL, yes they do. And they have the right to inspect your weapon to see if it is unloaded.

Correctamundo, but they cannot check for the gun's serial number.

just don't bring a knife to a gun fight. IF you do your world will get turn upside down.

Umm hilarious...

If you notice it is dowtown Savannah.. that would indicate Georgia.. I believe they have an open carry law, I am not sure but they might, but yeah there are a few states that you can open carry a side arm, hell colorado has my favorite, the "make my day" law if someone comes onto your property with ill intent you can shoot them on your property with no legal ramifications, if they happen to die, well then I think they should have chose another house to break into lol.

Yeah that guy deserves a medal... The baby momma trying to make it seem like he commited a crime.. If her baby daddy hadn't broken into a house he wouldn't have been shot lol.

Ahh I love that law, hahaha.

Thats pretty funny, though not as funny as the Koala bear for sale.

In az (wild west) its open carry or cc with permit. Also its illeagle to carry, not transport, a non loaded fire arm.

A fullsize 1911 is a pretty big gun to hide no matter what holster. Not sure if i believe the whole story because of some of the details. For instance who do you know with a credit card, cellphone, nice shoes. Needs to openly rob someone? And that anyone who normally carries its normally a sub-compact.

The dea threats and 1-900 numbers also overemphasized. So ima call this a fake, great story though.

Like i said open carry laws vary from state to state... In california you can not have loaded weapon in plain sight, other places you can...

I love my state, but unfortunately you can only shoot them inside your home, not out side it. You can also concealed carry in your house, place of business, or car without a permit. (ever wonder why our crime rate is so low?)

Default In GA

There is no open carry law in GA unless you are hunting otherwise you have to have a permit to carry consiled or open carry. Oh and the law is i believe you have to make 2 moves to shoot your gun. So i just keep one in the chamber and the safety on. So pull out of holster safety down and you made a bad day for your self. I do not pull for show or just to make me feel better. " I hope i never have to use the gun for what it is intended for."
