This
http://www.sdpc2000.com/details/scog...center/sdls7ck

& This
http://www.sdpc2000.com/details/gm-f...parts/15046288

& 4 quarts of DexIII or Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF.

You'll need a slide hammer and a pilot bearing puller attachment to remove the old pilot bering/bushing
You'll also want atleast one can of brake cleaner and a lint free cloth to wipe down the surface of the flywheel and the pressure plate.

You'll need a torque wrench also.

for the best setup i suggest a tick master..... but you can get away with just putting in s .112" shim behind the slave cylinder.....

I've never used it, but I haven't heard of any issues with it.

I always use Valvoline Dex/Merc. Got 182k miles on my T56.

Slave yes, I would since the trans is down. You can hold off on the master for now and change it later if you discover you have an issue with it. You don't have to drop the trans to change the master like you do with the slave.

depends sometime you do and sometimes you don't there is a technical way to measure it but i don't remember
and as far as the trans fluid royal purple is the absolute worst thing to put in a t56
stick with non synthetic trans fluid as well

i stock the shim... its just a shim made by ram.... from my experience 90% of the time with these aftermarket clutchs and even the ls7 clutch the stock master will simply not fully disengage the clutch.... the shim is $12 and it simply just bolts behind the slave cylinder.... if money is not an issue then just by the tick master it is the best way to go in my opinion...

So the shim is more a preventative measure?

SDPC carries a shim, but they state that it is for a LS7 clutch kit being used in a CTS-V and it's expensive ~$90.
