Are you going to run an 85mm lid and maf? Imo it wont be worth it. I would just port your stock tb and de sceeen your stock maf. That extra 150 for the lid 100 for the maf and then how ever much you pay for the TB wont be worth the 10 horsepower. Sorry if this is no help.
I remember seeing a guy who used some gasket sealer and bolted up an 85mm TB to his Fast 78 and then he just took his time and hogged out the extra material till there was a free 85mm passage, i am not sure if the same can be done on an ls6. He said that was the max size he would go.

I just finished up porting my LS6 intake yesterday. I opened up the inlet to match my 80mm throttle body and ported/blended the "throat". I used as much of the stock gasket as possible along with some orange RTV. It came out pretty decent and will certainly show some gains.
I also spent some time slightly opening up and smoothing the ends of the runners although I doubt it will make much difference because they're already pretty good.
