Default 10 Pt Cage install pricing...

What's an install going for on a CM 10pt that's jig notched? I'm thinking of picking up the same cage kit as Mr Electric, just wondering what a ballpark is for the welding with me removing the entire interior?

For a custom CM 8.50 legal cage (not a kit) you remove/install your own interior is $2K

^^That's a good price. I would highly recommend someone do this over those lame kits. That's about what it would cost from my guy (Sun Valley).

One thing we do is run frame rail bars. Welding cages to sheet metal floor plans (like the kits people by) is pretty retarded.

If you need it, you need it done right. Go to a shop not an internet store...

All you have to do is think about the logistics of it. I've seen cars in accidents with cages like that. The cage is usually fine but it isn't where you left it as the floor rips up.

ive never seen a floor rip as ling as the cage is properly welded to a floorplate... but undercar rails are stronger.. i just dont think that they are necesary....
