Bank 2 = Passenger side
Sensor 1 = Pre-cat o2 sensor.

It could be a bad sensor or bad/melted/corroded wiring to the sensor. As stated, check the wiring by the headers to see if any of it is melted.

Before I did anything I got a P0155 code. The 02 extension on my driver side was touching the header. I took it out and wrapped it up with electrical tape and some aluminum protector. I then switched the driver 02 sensor to the passenger side and got a P0161 code. So at this point do I need new 02 sensors?

Did you swap the passenger pre-cat o2 sensor with the driver post cat o2?

I have the rear 02's conected to 02 simulators. Are all four 02 sensors the same in a stock exhaust?

Whell then you might have wiring issues. Anywhere that was touching the headers (regardless of you retaped it with electrica tape) probably should be cut out and replaced with new wire.

I don't care about the code for Sensor 2, Sensor 1 is the one that will affect the car's performance. The wire harness section(s) that were burned by the headers need to be repaired.

if the wiring is melted, hopefully you can just replace the O2 extension/and/or sensor and be done with it

Default misfire 7 P0307

UPDATE: A couple of months ago I put on two new O2's sensors and sparkplugs. My car ran strong until now. My car started sputtering and shaking like the motor was going to shutt off. I feel no lost in power but at WOT it sputters and at idle it shakes at low rpm's. I was driving yesterday and again received code misfire number 7 (P0307). Damn!! I'm thinking it might be a clogged injector or a coil? Does anyone know how to remove injectors or coils? i want to see if they are dirty or clogged. I did see alot of gunk on spark plug number 7 when I replaced them a couple of moths ago. Thanx

You can pull up the rail and put it into a large container while still hooked up to the fuel line, have the key forward and keep priming the pump every now and then. Then you can give power and ground to each injector individually and watch the spray pattern, that might help identify if you have a bad injector.

Unbolting the coils are a piece of cake. Each coil has it's own harness plug and is bolted to the coil pack bracket (or valve cover if '98) with two small bolts. Or an easy thing to do is swap all the coils from bank to bank and see if the code follows. If you had a bad coil, you'd get a Cylinder #2 missfire instead of #7 after the swap.

Was the #7 sparkplug gunked up with oil or crud? Does your car smoke out of the exhaust? How does your coolant and oil look? I only ask that because a blown head gasket could contaminate a cylinder and cause the spark plug not to fire.

Jason, Yes #7 sparkplug was gunked up with oil or crud. My car doesn't smoke out of the exhaust. Coolant is fine and oil looks ok but burns quickly. Its my DD so I need to do it ASAP.
