apparently he posts on 6LE's site. He did my original tunes on my camaro. He kind of fell off the face of the earth though. Good tunes, but never got to finish it before he disappeared. Good guy though

You have to try RET racers edge tuning in downey greg there has been tuning reputable cars does great work, just moved. Into a bigger shop in Downey CA. 8107 PHLOX ST . 562 622 2508. Or 562 445 7001, I took my cammed GTO there and he fixed the problems the other tuners mentioned here didn't get.
The shop is connected to Eds. Speedshop parts and race fuel, 562 622 2519

I would personally recommend Haddad Motorsports. Mike Haddad is a good friend of mine and he has done all of my tuning. He also has one of the best dyno's around for load tuning and he is a LOT closer to you.
Give him a call and tell him I sent you his way.

I was looking into having my car professionally tuned, but I can't find a tuner who isn't overpriced, or who I've been told to stay away from. I called SoCal Tuning and the guy wants $750. I thought that sounded unreasonable, considering my friend had his supercharged mustang tuned for $650 including the chip he had to buy.
powertrain dynamics name steve tell him cj referred you....super sweet deals located in huntington beach

if i was a customer looking for a tuner the only people i would consider (excluding myself dont want to toot my own horn) would be Charlie @ RPM or George Lara.... they have the experience to back up there work..... to the op we are not that far and i have alot of experience with these cars...

I wonder what George is up to these days.
Many years ago when I met George Lara (2004), I tuned his racecar camaro for him that his g/f was racing and later showed him he basics of hptuners etc when he was learning to do some of his own tuning on his car.
We've had a few cars in our shop that had been previously tuned by him years later and everything looked pretty inline.
