CalSpeed - 525 rwhp WS6 A4 - 408" (Mustang dyno)
Just had the pleasure of finishing up a nice combination for a customer.
2000 WS6 Transam - Previously had a 435 rhwp mild heads/cam combo on the stock shortblock that we did last year. Came in and decided to step it up. I'll scan a dyno sheet shortly...
Planning to see it in the 10's N/A and some 9 second passes on a little go juice. Still has stock rearend in it shortly, we'll be doing a Fab 9" in it shortly.
Old setup: (435 rwhp N/A, 550 rwhp TNT F2Kit) on Mustang 1100 SE chassis dynothrough T56 M6)
-Stock shortblock
-CNC LS6 Heads (64cc)
-CSP CS3 Camshaft (238/242 @ 112 LSA)
-LS6 Intake
-Pacesetter Longtubes / Y-pipe / Electric Cutout
-3.42 Stock Rear /w T56 6-speed manual
-All the bolt-ons etc, 91 octane, 28 deg timing, 13.1 A/F
New Setup: (525 rwhp N/A, estimated 700-750 rwhp spray shortly)
-Calspeed (CSP) 408" Forged Shortblock
-Same CNC LS6 heads from 346" motor, stock rockers
-CSP Ported Fast 90mm Intake / TB
-CSP Custom Camshaft (24x/25x)
-Converted to CSP Level 6 4l60e Automatic
-Vigilante 9.5" Triple-Disc 3600 Converter (Locked for dyno pulls)
-Same stock 3.42 rearend
-Edelbrock Victor Stepped 1-3/4" to 1-7/8" Longtubes
-Custom CSP Stanless Y-pipe /w Dual 3" Electric Cutouts
-All the standard bolt ons etc from before
-91 Octane, 28 degrees timing, about 750 miles on motor
-CSP Standalone Nitrous Fuel System: Custom fuel cell /w walbro external pump, regulator etc feeding 104 unleaded to n20 system.
Also did the whole suspension (adjustable shocks, complete BMR welded subframes/tq arm,PH, LCA, etcetc).
Then last but not least a custom in-house roll bar with pin in door bar legal to 10.0

great setup.... it really is hard to make a solid 520+ rwhp catheral port engine.... and still be streetable.... alot of shops would have you believe you can do easily with inflated dyno numbers.... but it simply isnt the case..... good work jim....
p.s. converter locked on dyno pulls?

Yes, Converter locked on all pulls.
Ryne: You guys coming up to any of the Famoso test'n'tunes next month? I hadn't had the chance to meet you guys and extend some professional courtesy. I've meant to stop in on my way to Temecula or San Diego a couple times.
Your guys new website looks great and hopefully we can all continue to survive this economy. You guys are putting out some excellent cars.
