^Looks nice. Did they shoot under your hood and in the door jambs? How much did it total? I just want to know so I can torture myself. I really wanted to do this but couldn't in the end Need to finish the rest of my build.

No door jambs and I didn't want anything under the hood. I have the original SLP Options on there still.

The entire front end was resprayed by the previous owner with Maaco or something like that. It was terrible Adrian needed extra prep time to work on the hood.

Just an update and a heads up for some of you guys. I havent had time to take some good pictures of the car yet. To be perfectly honest it wasn't what I was expecting. Adrian's a really cool guy and he worked with me a lot, but his guys didn't do the best on my car. I'm super picky and I found a bunch of stuff wrong with it. He corrected a few, but I was still not happy about some things. Most important is the color sanding and buffing, it looks like they didn't finish it in some areas. It's cool though that is something that can be fixed after the paint cures by a really good detailer I guess. The guy that was fixing some stuff before I left told me that the guy that painted my car got fired, left, or something, either way I wasn't too excited to hear that. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give Adrian a 10 and his employees work a 6. The car does look 100000000x's better than before, but it just wasn't what I expected. I could make a list of the things that were wrong, but I don't feel like making a big *** list. Granted some were fixed, but I still didn't expect that many. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

From FBDYLVR's pictures I could tell the paint needed sanding/buffing. A lot of automotive paint jobs all look great in a picture and items needing work can usually only be seen in person. It could very well be that the car was evenly painted and it is indeed a good paint job; the final work of sanding/buffing was what was lacking. Sadly this is what makes/breaks the difference between a run of the mill paint job and a great paint job. If your car looks anything like FBYLVR's you could definately get a highly experienced detailer to colorsand your car after and it would make a world of difference! I had this issue with a truck my parents paid top dollar for to get re-painted and the sanding/buffing was lacking; we waited a few months and had it color sanded and it came out looking a lot more like we expected. As long as it's even and there are no bubbles in the paint then you could make it look what I believe you expected it to look like.

I was hoping that this would be the case. How long do you guys think I should wait before having it color sanded and buffed? Does anyone know a really good detailer in Ca that will be able to properly finish my car? The paint does look good it just needs to be finished to really make it look like how I want it.
