Just moved here from IL and just found out about the Palvilions so I checked it out tonight. I got there around 9:30 and there wasnt too many people there. They were all starting to leave but I was talking to a few guys that told me to get there around 6pm and it will be packed.

 

6 pm is a good time to go yea. I normally am there around that time, but because of the event at Firebird, I got there late and left around 9:30 or so.

 

Hey where in Illinois are you from? I live like ten minutes from O'hare.
Pavillions is def an earlier crowd, I usually head there around 6 or 7 and its pretty packed. Lots of older people with awsome classics. Always kinda thought that a younger crowd would roll in later in the night after the older people left but never seems to happen

I am originally from the Elgin area but moved up to Fox Lake, thats in the northern suburbs. You might know the area because of the chain O' Lakes. I was talking with a younger kid there that had a white turbo busa that was pretty sick. He said that he also owned another one but that was pretty much for the track only and it ran in the seven's.

 

i didn't realize the car show on power and hampton was a regular thing, or so big!! is it in the k-mart parking lot still?

i'm definitely game to check it out some time, let me know if you go next weekend kyle and we can roll out together

Simple reason my nitrous wasn't working on Saturday.

Pressure was too high.

Solenoids won't open apparently past the 1100 psi mark (I'm a newb, didn't know this). I was just around the ~1150 psi mark on the inline pressure gauge. Thanks for nothing Arizona sun.

I know a few people from johnsburg. Its awesome how many connections AZ has to Chicago. Id say most of the people I have met here in AZ are from IL or has friends from IL. Crazy

 

where are you ground to? I've gotten mine to open up at the 1150 point. I had to move my ground to a better one (grounded it to the battery neg terminal now). Also check you post on AZHP

 

I do have it grounded to the negative terminal on the battery, but it does have my twin fuel pumps "in front" of the nitrous ground, which might have made a difference.

I should probably go and rough up those grounds with a wire brush or something....

how many of you guys use your cars as daily drivers that are really track cars.
i think im going to gut alot of it out and just have a roll cage and two seats. i want a nice looking full blown race car that is street legal (i have it registered in la paz county so no emissions for me). im just curious if any of you have it setup close like that

 

i daily drive mine with two fiberglass racing seats and a 5-point cage. my car still weighs 3,900lbs though.. not quite gutted...

 

I had a roll bar but never put it in. I daily drove mine for 3 years. Just picked up a brand new jeep so driving that daily now.
