The best way I could argue what you are saying is like this. You might not think it is worth that because of function. True you could build a nicer car for far less. But it has something that you cant build with money. That is rarity.

I could give a close example of how you could buy a really nice big house in the Inland Empire for 5 bed and bath, two story, two car for like 280k to 310k. Now the same place in Malibu will be a 3-5 million.

You have to remember that the poeple that buy these cars all have money. Money can buy fast things. What poeple like that want is things that no one else has. It might not make sense to you to get something like this because you are thinking of it practically.
