What would you do?
What would you do? I'm going to be getting a vette within the next couple months. My question to you guys is- what would you rather do, get a C5 Z06 or FRC and build the **** out of it, or get a C6 Z06?
I could get an FRC/C5Z for low 20's or high teens, or the C6 Z06 for low 40's. I'm not too sure what style I like better, I go back and forth on it lol. They are both dead sexy.
Just curious what you guys would do in the situation?

Do you own a house? I might get a hard time for this but a few years down the road when you have a family and are looking to buy a place you might wish you did not spend that extra 15-20k on a car.
you also have the option of getting a ls2 vette and doing a l92/ls3 topend and whatever cam you want for it. You will make great power then you can do what you want in terms of other mods but still have the new body style.

Verdad Gallardo ..and to answer your question, i do not own a house. I'm only 20 and im renting right now, but yes that is something to consider and something ive though about in regards to coming years.

c5! id rather have a vette with my own custom build. if you run the c6 then you will be forced to talk about life insurance with all the know nothing owners that have the EXACT same car as you. be original, and be turbo'd....in a c5.

well if you ever accidently let one loose in the cougars or you get pissed at your boss then that situation could change. quick. if you HAVE to have a vette then c5 ftw and save the extra money for house//college.
trust me i've thought about all the consequences. if i did get the c6 z, i would be putting down a very large down payment (at the very least 10k) to get my payments more reasonable ...and i would never put that much money down unless i had several thousand on top of that saved up as insurance in case anything were to happen.
anyhow, the question here isn't really what would you do if you were ME. more of what car would you rather have?
