does this sound correct??

an he says that i have a wrong temp sensor
It makes sense about the coolant temp sensor...that didnt even cross my mind

Sounds kinda like BS but I cant see what you have so its tough to say. If alot of pressure is coming out of the breather the rings could all be turned with the gaps in the same spot but rings will spin so its a little tough to say.

Id probably hook up a temp gauge directly to the side of the head to get a accurate reading.. maybe those mailbu fans aren't enough.. how are the fans set up? Where is the leak coming from? There is also a proper way to check timing by unplugging a est wire idk what color it is

ok check it out..

this ******* didnt rebuild the 350 like we had agreed on instead a 305 accordingly he bored it out .030 over.
we agreed he would put a hot cam in it, i was looking at the cam that was in there an its this

10066049 which is a stock cam.
which is a l98 stock cam
CAM 88-89 L98 10066049 In/Exh Dur@.050" 207'/213' Lift (w/1.5) .415"/.430" LobSep 117'
http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c4/vader86/cam.html

he says there is no vaccum that the xr276 i put in is to big for it, and isn't producing vaccum.

if he didn't even change the cam, why should i believe that he even did bore it out an do everything rite??

its not a damn 350 didn't put the hot cam!!!
so what the hell did he do??

maybe thats not even my stock block, since i gave it to him exchange for the 350 an some cash..

this guy is full of crap

if compression comes out the valve covers then thats definatly the valves not sealing right and your car will run like crap with no power at all.. if the smoke was coming out the tail pipe then it would be the piston rings and you would be burning oil like crazy... maybe when your copression stroke comes around and explosion happens all that heat is escaping through the valves and making the heads get hotter than they are supposed to

Yeah, you should have, lol. It's already gone now.
But it's not too late to buy an LT1. I see them for sale all the time on CL. Let me know if you want to do a swap sometime.

man thats sucks man hopefully things work out for you. You can tell if you have a 305 or 350(it should say what it 305 or 350) by looking at the casting on the back of the motor just below the passenger side head in the back, tho I think you may need the motor out to see it. If you have to pull it out again at least you can check.
