Default ac problem

i had problem with my ac on my 94 formula 2 years ago .. after 2 bad used
compressors i said **** it and got a new one .those A-6 compressors on
lt1 motors are notorious for leaks from the center where the 2 halves of
the compressor is joined together . if you have a lt1 motor car buy a new
compressor and save your self the headache .

How do you know? How long is the clutch cycling for? How did you empty it? When I worked at the dealership, I'd undercharge everything by about .2 to make it run slightly colder, capacity isn't something you can eye ball, you need to have a calibrated scale. It's also very important to get ALL the moisture out of the system before charging, if you just vented to atmosphere and recharged, you probably killed your receiver-dryer...

Where is your buddy located? Just replaced my ac compressor and need my system flushed/re-charged.

He lives in Artesia, right off the 91 at Pioneer. He has the R-134a, you'll need to get a can of pag oil.
