I am thinking your compressor is bad, but I am not 100% sure on that, it does not look like you have a leak it just looks like it cannot take the freon and make it cold. Then again I could be wrong and this would be nothing knew just tossing ideas out there.

It's really important to get the capacity right. Sounds like you overcharged it just enough to not blow off excess pressure but it can't get the cold side down the right pressure. You need a manifold gauge set to see what the cycle time is and the hot/cold side pressures.

id also double check your vac. lines that go to the hvac controls... if they develop a leak the ac wont work right either.

Couple things to check, as mentioned, check the vacuum lines going to and from that little check valve over by the PCM. Any leaks and your AC might not work properly. Also check the vacuum lines that run over to the HVAC controls.
Another thing to check is to actually look at the AC compressor and make sure that your AC clutch is engaging.
And finally, you need to check the under hood fuse blocks and make sure your AC/Cruise fuse is not blown.

well i know the clutch is turning on. havent go tto check anything else yet. with the pressure i emptied the system and then filled it and it would go to a good pressure but i shut the car off and turn it back on and it shoots to max. i will have to check the vacuum lines and stuff after i get the car back from the exhaust shop.

That's usually not enough. You have to empty it and then add a vacuum to the system before adding freon. Most people don't do that. I think you want to get to about 750 microns before you add freon to the system. My buddy can redo your system for cheap (he works for refrigeration company), you just have to go to his house. He's already hooked up a few members here on Tech.

Don't my buddy charges 40 bucks to evacuate and recharge a system, including freon. He has all the professional equipment, because it's his profession, lol.

It sounds like you overcharged the system. SoCal01z28 hit it right on the money.

Those DIY AC recharges from the parts store can be ticking time bombs, and even doing it with just the gauges is not 100% accurate. If you want it done to spec, its best to be vacuumed out and recharged by a machine.
