Someone needs to contact Allen again to see if he would still be willing to come out if there was enough people to make it worth his while. It sounds like there is renewed interest. Probably the best way to do that would be to start a new thread with a proposed date or dates, where people could commit one way or the other.

Hey Naked,
Do you think this is still going to happen, because you can add me to the list and we should start a thread over at SilveradoSS.com also. As far as track selection Carlsbad is good because it is not crowded and good wheather and elavation. on a down side it has a dirt road to get down to it. California speedway is good clean track, but very crowded. downside is wheather and elavation is not very good. Hopefully we can get something going on this.

Another downside of Carlsbad is employee's with an ego trip thesize of texas
Also the track is UGLY .. cracked etc.. I was far from impressed, especially when I had to offroad my truck just to get to the track... how good could that be... your telling me the track isnt big enough to get some money together for a road to the track?

Whatever track you guys plan this at, I'll be there! I won't be getting tuned from him, but I am sure any cars guys that want to come can help subsidize the rental of the track to be able to put down a bunch of runs. Keep this thread updated or post a link in this thread if you start a new thread so I can follow along and let the cars peeps know.
