Where I can find a third gen with an LS base swap that is forsale???? If anyone know's someone or where one is forsale can you let me know please... I want to buy one already done so I dont have to have to do another build... Thanks for any help you guys can give..

ive ran into a couple on thirdgen.org well once in a while. under camaro classifieds. seen a ls carb set up z28 go for like 3k

theres a 3rd gen on craigslist for $2700 with a ls1 in it. Its a RS but its a swapped third gen.

this car was for sale a lil over a year ago by a different owner in el segundo. I went and checked it out. The body was straight, turn signals didnt work, it didnt have power steering either. It ran great under normal cruising/light acceleration but one you went wot it would just rev and rev like crazy and not go anywhere. Transmission was toast..I doubt it's been fixed yet for that price.

Also the air bag cover peice on the dash had a huge hole in it from when the '02 ss it came out of got wrecked and the bag deployed.

Don't get me wrong..every issue on the car was fixable. The hard parts of the ls swap are done. I'd offer him closer to 2k and then get yourself a tranny, fix all the lil bugs it has..throw on a paintjob and you'd have a pretty badass lsx thirdgen for 5-6k. You'd have a hard time building one for that price.

Not too bad if you ask me..

Yeah I agree with you... But I am trying to see if I can find one that is already done so I dont have to really do anything except the basic stuff... This car would be my DD since my TA will be the weekend and summer car like always... If I dont find one I like I will more then likely sell my WRX and buy a newer built STI
