I have a question.
How good are FLP headers (finish line performance)
and would they work with a 3" pacesetter y pipe for my 99 z28???
or what could I use?
also how much do these headers go for

I've had 2 sets of FLPs. New I think they were like $1300 w/ the offroad Y, and high flow cats. The first set I had on my LT1 a looong time ago, and they were the first set of headers I put on my LS1 car. For ground clearance they can't be beat. If you are looking at a used set (assuming you are because they haven't been made in years) look for excessive wear on the coating and make sure the clamps are in good condition. If the clamps are bent/broke you can get them from a Ford dealer as they are the same ones used on Powerjoke diesels.
I have no clue what the high flow cats that come with them do for emissions because I ended up running the off road pipes 99% of the time. The only difference I noticed was at WOT they were more quiet with the cats on.![Chug! Chug! Chug!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_chug.gif)
They won't work with your 3" Pacesetter Ypipe due to the mounting points and flange requirements.

Without the matching Ypipe I don't think you can get much for them. The true value to those headers is they had easially removable cats in the Ypipe, without a Ypipe they are only good for an open header/race type situation which most all out race guys want a larger primary headers w/ a spike and merge.
