Not to be a wet blanket, but this REALLY feels like using an F-105 to blow up bicycles being pushed along a mountain trail... Somebody who's actually been in-theater can probably address this a lot better, but isn't the problem usually identifying targets, not hitting them? The capability to take out the enemy behind cover is definitely a Good Thing, but if you can't get a clean rifle shot on a guy, you're probably not able to positively identify him (to the extent your ROE require) either.
