Nice, in 05 i got to drive a gto, cts-v, and vette out at the Pomona fairgrounds parking lot. It was a lot of fun and smart by GM because it eventually led me to purchase the gto.

It was alot of fun. Free food/ drinks. Drove a grand sport vette, new Camaro/ mustang and a bunch of other stuff. There's gonna be another one in march.

Did you beat the hell out of the cars (as much as reasonably possible)? Please tell me you did. The typical driving rules are limited to no massive tire squealing and no cone hitting... Right? I went to a closed-cone-course test drive event at the LA Auto Show last year or the year before with Sommer86, and another cone course at Barrett-Jackson OC... Good times.

Sadly, I'll still take the 2011 Mustang over the 2011 Camaro.

Of course!!!! I was powersliding the cargo van and some silverados. I footbrake launched the fast cars but couldn't turn off traction control cuz there's an instructor with you. And I can agree that the new moosetang is better through the turns but the Camaro sounds way better and it feels more powerful. The new cruze is surprisingly nimble in the turns. And the volt has decent power when u step on it.

I got the chance to do this in 04' and in 05' it was pretty awesome. I got the drive the C6 Z51, a course and a Cobalt SS (supercharged) with a burnt to **** clutch , and a LS1 GTO, among the sea of SUV's and family sedans.
