Default fontana today...

went to fontana and ran my ride. track prep was absolutely horrible. managed to get a run of 12.4 at 109. that was with me having to ease off the gas due to spinage. i guess it was good to see what running a real quarter mile is though

Nice time..

If i were you I would have more of a stall for that donkey dick of a cam though lol. That or a 224 cam would be perfect for that setup and you would pick up some time..

Sounds like your having fun with it though..must be a fun car.

yea bro im having a lot of fun. i barely stalled it up yesterday because the track was absolutely trash. there were people spinning tires on full slicks. i got a big enough stall to take it higher next time, but i just need to make sure the track is better

Was there too and you are soo right the track was really crappy, I think the short rain waiting for the dam tv show filming ruined the day!

track prep for street legal events is typically poor.

Yea it also doesnt help
-with all the FWD **** dragging water everywhere
-dbags in red Saleens with their A/C on right before their run

Anyone else notice the track was REALLY loose. More so on the right lane that the left?

Anyway I ran a new PB of 12.05 at 113.5

lol i thought the far left lane was the bad one.. i burned rubber till 3rd gear in that lane and that was after i let of the gas 3 different times. there was one moron in a bmw who spun his tires the entire length. i guess he didnt realize your suppose to get of the gas when your burning out that much. fontata was a joke and a huge waste of my time going out there. im sure id be in th 12.0 range if not high 11's if it was at irwindale and it was a 1/4 mile not a 8th eff fontana

Not typically during PSCA or SCEDA events.

I went 1.49 in the left lane first pass (~11:15) pulling the wheels about 8". Second pass (~1:30) in the left lane went 1.61 after that honda oiled down the starting line after blowing up during his burnout. Something punctured a hole in one of my ET Streets so I couldn't get a 3rd run. **** that ghetto *** crowd there, having damn tailgate parties in the staging lanes, taking up my track time with their 17 second hondas.

Yeah i had traction problems all day, but then again i do have a gto and its on stock size Nitto dr's lol. Hoping to break into the twelves with this slow *** car, but could only muster a best of a 13.1 when i wasn't spinning.

I thought it was funny how they filmed the start of those cars for the show, shut em down half track and then posted up 9 and 10 second times on the board. I think the show was Chop Cut Rebuild so when you see a corvette and a older charger on the show, the times are bogus.

That's dumb, why would they film a show during the street legal events? What a waste of time
