I got a decent deal on some Lunati Pro Mod Gen 1 SBC rods.... 6.125", 2.100 rod journal, .927 pin. There is a slight offset on the small end though which would put more pressure on one side of the cylinder wall. More details (and instructions) at the link below:

I have too admit this; They ended up taking two days to tune a one day car, and really did not solve or diagnose my issue; just covered it up. But I watched them building motors and that part looked like they knew what they were doing. I would not have them tune another one of my cars.

So, just an update - I went with JMS in Monrovia. Mike is a great guy to deal with so far. Also, there are no issues with using these connecting rods (Lunati LAE-1) with these pistons (Diamond Racing 11503) - there is 0.11" clearance (TONS) on either side of the connecting rod small end in the wrist pin slot.
