Tried talkin to a 5th Gen owner (one of the first in my area), with a car that was straight off the lot, and he was complete douche. Almost got hit in a parking lot because a 5th Gen owner didnt wana obey the yeild sign for a crowd of ppl (really, he drove through a group of about 10 ppl and didnt stop until I stopped in front of his car and showed him what I thought). The same guy work at Firestone, and double parks in the tiny and already over crowded lot everytime he drives the car.
That being said 5th Gen owners dont rate much higher than cocky high school kids in rice grinders. Hopefully one of em will change my mind one day.

I havent got a clean run from a BMW,vette, or 5th gen ever and ive raced a good handful. The ones I did were runin through traffic like morons just not too smart/fun imo.I hardly ever go out of my way to play around them.Best cars ive delt with have been 4th gens woot! Thanks,Mercedes e55's,audi's all kinds,STI's 50/50 oh and its usually gotta be from a stop."gay" its ok...I dont discriminate the handicapped.Mustangs more often then not.Gotta hand it to em though they lose to us a lot and by a lot.Last but,not least anything with a Hemi badge on it lol ya damn okies.

I acknowledge 5th gens sometimes. If the person driving seems like they know what they have. When I am alone, I sometimes approach 5th gen owners and talk about Camaro's. I have met some nice 5th gen owners. There is that other element (douche bags) always around anyway.

I will admire a nice looking Camaro no matter what generation, but I tend to not wave, rev, or anything. I just think must won't know why the hell I'm waving at them, or if I rev, they may think I wanna race. I do acknowledge other motorcyclists when I'm out on my bike, but that's a slightly different culture.

i always tried to wave or throw a rev when i first started driving my camaro's but i never got anything in return so i gave up. I was driving in my neighborhood lately and saw a very clean ls1 car and i kinda revved a little by his house then the same day it was like he hunted me down and went by twice like he was calling me out lol. no need for me to mess with a ls1 car in my stock lt1 i know the outcome haha. i wonder if he's on this site

yeah thats kinda what i try and do but i dunno what kinda guy he is. He may have thought i was revving to say my car will whoop ur *** or something. Id like to run into him and talk and maybe hang out a bit and stuff. We will see what happens in the future. As far as i can tell he probably thinks i was calling him out lol.
In actuality i was just giving my buddy a ride since i replaced my trans

i wave at every firebird or camaro. that or spastically jam a thumbs up out the window. usually people wave back.
i was cruising on a 2 lane road and a 5th gen sped up next to me, we had our windows down and gave eachother a thumbs up and had a quick conversation

Got a thumbs up from a 5th gen when I was rolling in my GN a few weeks back. I also got flipped off the same day by a *** in a supercharged Honda S2000, after I kicked the **** out of him up to about 115 on I5 near the 138.

Throwing revs that's kinda gay and really ricerish or if you 18 and its you first car well hell I understand that. But I might nod @ a person with a cool car give them the occasional thumbs up. But the wave that's a biker thing when I ride ill do it sometimes always do it back though. Never wave to harley **** though lol.

When I see a nice camaro doesn't matter which gen I try and wave to the driver. However most all the 4th gen v8 guys know each other or see eachother at the crusies or meets so we throw revs at each other. I throw a rev a all the guys I kno doesn't matter the car camaro, vett, mustang, truck, heck even the ricers. For some reason bikes a usually the first ones to wave back or throw a rev at me first. Most 5th gen guys round here suck
