ATTENTION ALL.... help me out I have my GF's 2000 Z28 and everytime u floor it, it won't shift unless u let go of the throttle. (keeps hitting the rev limiter) I'm thinking it needs a shift point adjustment. Has anyone ever been through this?

A stock car that hasn't had the tuning messed with wont need any type of adjustments. The auto trannies in our rides are electronically controlled.

I'm taking my car to CMS for an a4 to m6 swap on April 12, so ill have the spare 4l60e. You can have the transmission for $120, pm me if you are interested.

I still want to do the tranny oil change and see how it acts. Probably someone put the wrong fluid. :/

The 4L60E in our cars only calls for Dexron III ATF which is very generic...it's not like they need a synthetic or specialty ATF from the factory. As much as it sucks, I'm sure its not the fluid.
