A question...

Hey Guys. You might have an answer not sure, but just curious to ask. A friend of mine picked up a 02 camaro v6 to have as a Daily Driver. Gas prices are a pain to him when he would drive his 89 z28. anyways, Is there a good exhaust system to make the lil v6 growl just nice? Any info would be great thanks.

i have never heard a v6 with it

If he's interested, I have lots of high performance stuff: Comp Cams camshaft, Jet Chips module, Hurst short-throw shifter, exhaust cut-out, and maybe some other stuff but can't remember exactly what right now. I'm not asking very much and it's all in very good condition (though used). PM me if he's interested

you should make sure he knows that the v6s dont get much better gas milage then ls1, then kick him in the *** and make him trade it in for a ls1 car

lol just grab a flowmaster and throw it on...they sound ok on a v6 and cheaper than anything else. 35 bucks should get it welded in place of the stock muff and if you wanna spend a few extra bucks and get dual tips that might help out.

Go with either a stock V8 exhaust or a Magnaflow. All the others sound like ***, and the Magnaflow is pushing it (it gets annoying).

Do not put exhaust on a v6 they sound like crap especially when you accelerate. I would sell that thing before I spent cash on it to mod it.

I found a vid for him, He likes it. Dynomax bullet which I have on in the garage, and so he wants it. Also wants a cutout. PM sent.

I think your Borla sounds like garbage... Sorry. I've heard it on other V6 cars. Put it next to a group of V8 cars with exhaust and you'll wish your exhaust was stock, so you can hear the V8 cars better. :p
