I recently bought my SS (2nd Camaro for me) so I just went through this process. I had to get rid of my Magnum due to repeated suspension failures. I was considering a Challenger, but figured that I'd end up with the same junk Mopar front end. There were a number of cars that I would like to have but are well out of my price range. I spent about two months wheeling and dealing trying to land a 5th gen, but just couldn't justify the price tag. I was ready to spend $1500 on a beater Cavalier to rid myself of car payments for a while, but just couldn't do it. I hate fwd with a passion! It boiled down to a V6 CTS or a the SS. I took power over luxury. Too bad I couldn't swing the CTS-V and have both!

When it does sell (it's in the classifieds), I will be without a job for a bit, living off a portion of it. Once I pick up new income, I'll have the liquid to put a ~50% chunk down on an E92 M3 or Gen 3/4 Viper.

Rich boy.... please.

Dude.. Dont get an m3. I work for bmw and drive em all the time. They never excite me as much as my c5 z06 did.. Not even close. I would build your c6, or get a c6 z06.

As for the viper.. Fugly
