Haha. I think I saw you last thrusday running. Its a go pro upside down right?? Nice set up. Where can we see some vids of those runs? I was there with a buddy running his G8 on drag radials.

As for the camera, I have a GoPro that I use also, but I was using my regular Canon Point/Shoot camera... it does better at night.

You and me both but the only way im driving 2 1/2 hours to the 1/4th is for the private track rental on the 30th. Were you in North Hollywood a few days ago I thought I saw your car or one that looks exactly like it.

Oh, and what time does this kick off tonight? Whats showtime for tech, etc? All I needed before was a helmet and close-toed shoes. I don't recall needing an extinguisher.
At the 1/4 tracks, sub 11.50's requires a cage... what about the 1/8? Or is it trap-speed based? I trap mid 120's through the 1/4 but I don't remember what my 1/8ths were... low 90's maybe?
Yup, probably me. Haven't seen any other LMB on Black combos around. If you saw it, you probably heard it, lol. Stupid car...its too loud.

It's time/mod based here:
Run faster than an 8.6 in the 1/8th = helmet
Run faster than 7.2[?] = cage
Run nitrous = fire suit, etc.
My car last ran an 8.2 there @ 89 with a stock LS1/4L60E (everything else was modded) and on drag radials. In a 1/4 mile that should be good for mid-high 12s. All I needed was a helmet. Friends of mine that should be good for mid to high 11s (mid-low 7s) only need helmets.

GLHS nice runs man, your car has a ton of potential. I was hanging out by the fence area a litle bit down from the time keeper, my buddy had his bone stock auto '12 5.0 there he clicked off an 8.3x. I was also there with ZexGx and nevrlft13.

I went 7.74 last week on a 1.90 60', which equates to roughly 12.0-12.1. So If I can squeak into the 11.90's at the Famoso track rental this month, I will be super happy with that...
Looking at my previous time slips, the car gained AT LEAST 24 mph on the big end (from 1/8 to 1/4). That was with a smaller cam and LS6 intake (now has a FAST 102 intake), so I think it should pull a bit harder on the top end now.
So, shooting for 11.90's at 120-121 mph at Famoso. And yes, I know that's a pretty lame ET for the MPH.
Don't want to put tire under it until I get my 9 inch. I've been trailered home from the track before... not fun.
