Ok I need your advice.. I just got a 94 v6 and I wanted to change my engine harness from my 97 z28..would I need the whole wire harness?
Also I dont wanna convert the dash over to 97 from 94? My 94 has no power door locks, manual windows..pretty much nothing of what my 97 has..Or what years would work best besides 94?

You can use the wire harness and PCM from your donor car. The OBD2 harness will have an extra pair of o2 sensors and the CPS sensor that the OBD1 harness does not have. Since you are using the '97 PCM, you can use the CPS sensor. If you are not concerned with emissions or have an aftermarket exhaust, then you need not worry about utilizing the rear o2 sensor connectors. You have to do some repinning on the connector faces on the passenger side shock tower and the connectors under the passenger dash.

and on my free time i dont go on ls1tech to talk about certain individuals.
you must have nothing else to do.
anyways
like srj stated there are few differences in the early lt1 and later lt1 harness.
i would research and look into the connectors pinouts
good luck with the project

Posse is here, excuse the delay, busy with work and business.
Don't want to hijack the thread though, you should look into the pinout connectors and research difference between later and earlier lt1 harness.
