All great info thanks guys.
Hey ryne is there any tuning tools available now that helps tuning blown srt's? That was not available a few years back?
It needs to be a reliable 6 to 700 hp awd suv. Is this unreasonable?

You need to head over to cherokeesrt8.com where you will find all your answers.
I just traded my '05 V on a mint '09 SRT8 Jeep (modern blue) with 26K miles. Paid $34K and it has all SRT option groups. You absolutely want the Kicker audio option. NAV is ok and the other options I could take or leave.
All I have so far is the Mopar CAI and it's a beast. Has a fairly accurate 0-60, 1/4mi, etc timer and I just pulled a 4.1 0-60 last night. From a roll it's about as fast as my nearly stock V was. I'd say the Jeep handles better which is amazing to me.
Diablo is the handheld tuner of choice which I need to pickup ASAP. Comes with various canned tunes but there are various ppl providing custom tunes.
Gas mileage is what it is. I'm getting 13mpg right this moment but Ive been running it hard. I have absolutely no problem getting 17mpg highway at 75mph.
Good luck with the search.
