My car is getting repainted once again.went in for some touch ups on the bumpers and decided to get the whole car done.It's tuff color matching SOM specially since Gm has 5 varients to SOM.fo some reason my factory one is still off.looks a bit lighter. I had the car repainted 2 years ago and it looked close,but still was a lil darker and had a bit of a red tint to it.this time I want to lighten up the color,but since we're having a lil bit of problems matching it I was considering switching it to this
what do u guys think? it's SOM with a atomic pearl twist. Inbetween SOM and AOM.

You guys noticed how many variants there is to SOM? My painter had 4-5 to Gm SOM. when we had yours,mine,Gils,and James's SOM's together we all had a different shade of SOM. I want my original SOM back which was a lil lighter than my last paint. My last one was pretty close to what James has.

it goes by paint manufacture. every company has they're mix.

 

from what I remember
-Chelo and I(my original factory paint,a lil lighter orange yellow hint like) had similar paint
-59camaro and I(2nd paint) were almost identacle at invasion
- Geovette's had a more orange tint
-Gil's t/a was the darkest tint(cinamon redish hint)

i got the paint code off ur car and geovettes ride from the codes on ur door saying 633 or 0633 or some **** like that
