I'm lookin for a set of some Good Hookin' tires besides the Mickey Thompson's but just lookin for other personal opinions

406hp/404tq size is 275/40/17 (10spoke rims from SS) quarter mile racing but I daily drive to work which is about 2miles from my house

With that kinda power, any drag radial that's worth a damn (m/t hoosier) should good on track
But the problem with these same tires, is they need to be warmed up to hook which kinda sucks for street driving , there are non drag radials that will work better on the street but won't be as good on the drag strip , it come down to what you really want out of the car

If they are 9.5" wide wheels it would be hard to put 315's on those wheels. So your limited to 275-295.

My buddys and my self run 315's all the time on 9.5" wheels. It all depends on the tire shop you go. By the way that's one nasty ws6 very very nice.

In that case I would go with M&H, M/T ET Radials or Nitto NT05.
