Thanks man. you'll get it figured out. Im not really sure what to do at the next event now. If i want to do the A3 class, i won't really be a street car anymore and I don't want to do that. Otherwise I'm limited to 205

The car is a Camaro. It has a 6 speed. Car on the 250 has 778hp/804trq. I would change gear ratios to a ratio that would be best for this. Car weighs in right around 3250. I would set the car up for this run. Whatever it takes. I just wanna go fast.

I'd guess in the 180-190 mph range.
But there's only one way to find out!!

Congrats on breaking 1k rwhp. Must be a dedicated track car. But if you drive it on the street, you are my idol. Ha. You might have posted it but what do you think in ideal conditions you could run? 210?

Here's the 1k RWHP thread that his tuner Ryne @ CMS posted: https://ls1tech.com/forums/western-m...dy-camaro.html
and yes, he does drive it on the street. I have seen it at various car shows/meets...

Also although my car is still on low boost and nowhere near the level of josh , my car is wot at least 50% of the time it spends on the street

Good work & Thanks for all the info guys!
excited to know about this but I'm lacking safety gear
just did all my suspension so I'm going to have to wait a lit longer before talking about buying any thing with my better 1/2, if you know what i mean!

yeah the gear adds up quickly. If you need a place to buy gear, check out Sube Sports in huntington beach. They have almost everything in stock so you can try it on, and they are extremely knowledgeable on safety gear. the owner is some famous ex-racer

I was having issues all day and never ended up getting a clean run in. But my best run of the day was 147.8 mph. The dumb thing is I hit that by the half mile marker and just coasted the last half mile. One of my issues was I couldn't get the truck to shift into 4th/OD. I think I have more than enough power to reach my target speed of 175mph but I have other issues I need to sort through first.
