Irwindale had closed for a bit and Fontana is down for now so i sold my 10 sec mustang and bought a 08 LY6 to mate to a TH400 and stab in a offroad prerunner. I am really new to this whole LS engine swap deal.

Anyone on here have any insight into which engine management system i should use ? looking at PSI and Howell. really only want to spend a Grand if possible. the swap is Smog Exempt smog. But would like some tunability. I would also consider any insight into tuner shops that would have knowledge in what im "trying" to accomplish

What are your power goals? Usually the stock F-body/GTO/truck engine management system is good enough for most people doing swaps. Also, I'd suggest making a separate thread here for more attention instead of replying to an unrelated one.

a factory PCM with the appropriate harness is really the most reliable way to go, i tune many off-road trucks and buggies and they do great... the factory pcm is very versatile and powerful... call or email us, we have a lot of experience in this area, we can definitely help you out.
