Default Heading to CA from TX

Well, better job opportunity has me leaving TX and heading out west. It's looking like I'll be living in Santa Clarita, CA as of the first week of June. Found a few SoCal forums but alot of them seem to be south of LA, there many people on here north of the city?

GM Eternal and PHK are the only groups that frequent LS1tech that I know of north of Los Angeles. They're based out of the San Fernando Valley area. There's a decent amount of people north of LA.

Yeah, I just registered it in January so mine's good through December of this year, that'll give me ~7 months to convince a friend of mine here in TX to let me use his address haha. I want to avoid registering it in CA if at all possible. I've got friends in FL that I could probably use too.

I moved here from TX, getting out next week. Lots to do, bad economy, great car scene but too expensive to live here. Oh, and last, the ocean water is really cold.

True about the weather, not so much about the people just the ridiculous quantity of them who can't drive, use cell phones while driving and it all gets worse when it rains.

Also, you are going to really hate any prius and its driver.

haha, thankfully my company will pay to ship both of my cars, so I don't have to worry about the driving part of the move. Based on what I've seen from my flights back and forth, it is an extremely desolate drive.

You'll love it here! People always complain but they have never really seen how shitty the rest of the world can really be.. Welcome to California, where weed is legal but plastic bags are not.

I've done the drive from Fort Worth to San Jose, CA in one straight go, no food, no sleep. It really really does suck. A lot. I've also done it back to Texas with only 2 hours of sleep. It still really sucks. A lot.

I envy the **** out of you, I would kill to go back to California haha!
