Default F Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale AZ

I bought a 2007 TBSS from them a couple of weeks ago, and last Thursday they call me to come sign paperwork for a new lender... they raised the interest rate. I refused to sign any paperwork that rised the payment or the duration of the loan... the salesman had the nerve to get pissed at me because I wouldn't sign... after he had assured me that the contract wouldn't change.

Luckily, I was able to find another TBSS for sale from an individual.

Midway Chevrolet and Van Chevrolet are both dirty companies.

Good for you... Most people just sign and get screwed.

Wait... If you signed for an initial loan to begin with how can they change it? Unless you signed something allowing them to do so... That is good you didn't sign, they sound like a stealership.

its common here in az, they write you up with a payment and interest rate you agree too, but when they run by the bank for approval, they reject it and send it back with a new interest rate and payment.

then the jerks at the dealership call you back in and try to get you to agree to the new contract and payment! they tried this a couple of times on me.

i found out that untill the bank takes the note on any deal you have signed on, it is just a open contract and can be declined by you or the dealer.

you did the best thing by walking away!

Crazy... I've never bought a new car so this is good information for the day I'm finally able to!
