I have been around the ls car scene in the ie since 2005 and every single attempt at getting a good group of cars out has failed miserably. It starts out with a lot of hype and interest and dwindles away where no one shows up. With the closures of all the drag tracks, increased gas prices, and street runs too risky now a days, it all adds up to a recipe for failure.

I will try to make it out one of these days if possible, but my clutch recently grenaded and blew shrapnel all over my bellhousing so my car is out of commission for a couple weeks.

 

I would've made it this week but I've been real busy !!!

Yeah Alexc I know how it is, for me since I got married and moved out here it seems as though I acquired some sort of disease that keeps some of my old friends away lol.

If we get this going then great, if not I will be down for a Friday/Sat night meet as well I went to a friday night meet right by my house at the Carl's Jr. off Riverwalk and it got shut down by helicopter. Pretty neat guy with an R33 twin turbo legitly registered.

Cool deal, I live withing walking distance of you literally lol. I have seen the show at first class pizza the first sunday of every month but that is for classic cars for the most part. Some nice stuff to see though. I will definitely try to make it out if I can get this car together again. Parts are starting to come in slowly but surely.

 

I am surprised I haven't seen your car around then lol yeah Im back off collet where it ends near pierce. The wife and I checked out the First Class Pizza shindig and I love classic cars, I have been really contemplating selling the camaro to buy a 74 camaro and do a ls/t56 swap into it.

thanks. i backed into a gate when i was rushing to get my kids after i just woke up. so theres a day gone in the near future to do the body work and paint lol. i HATE body work but i HATE my car looking f**** up more.. but anyway. im down for a meet soon.

 

ca smog laws are stupid. the laws were made to produce less smog right? then why do they need a visual inspection? why does it matter where the cats are or what heads or cam or intake u have? just do a sniffer test to make sure people arent grossly polluting the environment and shut the f*** up ca state!!!!

 

Yet they let these priuses go in the carpool lane and they call them ultra low emissions vehicles when they are more harmful on the environment than my car with no cats and guzzles gas will ever be... Thats what happens when you let Hippies make decisions that override actual science... Oh well i don't follow smog laws anyways lol.
