Are the 4th gen. SS hoods fiberglass or steal??

My stock SS hood was roughly 45 lb. I bought a fiberglass hood from TruFiber in corona, it was approximately 33 lb, then I cut a bunch of the fiberglass out of it, it weight 25-26 lb when I was done. Some of the lift off hoods weigh as little as 12 lb, but those are usually Z28 style or cowl style.
