Just posting the next drive that some of us on this and other sites are thinking of doing. Two week heads up. Everyone is welcomed and all cars of course. I figured this should be a good drive, Mt Baldy to Glendora Ridge Rd, down GMR to E. Fork and then down San Gabrial Canyon to La Tolteca Mexican restaurant if anyone wants to grab a bite after. Meet up at 930 to be driving by 10. Hope to see a nice group since the last drive was fun.

Meet Spot/Time:
930am meet up, 10am head out
Kohls parking lot (usual meet up spot)

Side note: This is a "spirited" drive. We go fast enough to have a fun drive but its not a race track. No donuts or burnouts (John Force type) at the top of GMR either please. Cops already know about the ricers that go up there driving wrecklessly but are usually cool with american cars. Lets keep it like that.

nice i havent been on that road in a good while. i will do my best to make it!

 

Hope you guys can make it. The weather has been a bit warmer so the road should be nice and dry. Should be a nice drive.

Looks like a nice route, I haven't done that one before.. We'll see when the time is near, I might be able to make it out.

 

Bump for the week. Just went up there today. Beautiful drive. Hopefully it stays dry for us next weekend.

Ok guys just a slight change to the meet up spot. Picked a lot a few blocks away that people that have been on this drive before are familiar with. Posted the address on the op. Not much change in the route, this lot is more lowered car friendly as well. See you guys Sunday.

About 7-9 have said theyre going but its been posted on other forums and FB so many have seen it. Might have a big group but even if its small we have fun like last time.

 

What a drive. The first part of it sure was interesting. Lol. GRR was full of snow and we encountered a snow plow on the way up. A miata spun out ajd a few guy had fun sliding the rear around corners. Once at the top, the drive down GMR and East Fork was pretty nice. It was a scenic drive though.dum

Thanks to everyone that made it out and for not turning back. Lol. It was fun. Nice meeting some new people too.
