Thinking of switching up my exhaust. Have certain items in place so the not so educated visual inspection gets by. I know the quick answer some will think is longtubes, but I am not going that route. I want something that will 1) pass visual 2) pass emissions 3) get the most out of the mods I have.

Hear are my mods:

2000 SS
PRC stage 2.5 heads, CheatR Cam V3 (219/230 .607/.604 117 LSA)
FAST 92 mm and big mouth throttle body
Air lid
42 lb injectors
Crank underdrive pulley

Finish line trans level 4
Ext Trans Cooler
Hughs 2500 Stall

Current exhaust:
Pacesetter Shorties & Magnaflow high flow cats
Magnaflow catback pipes and Borla muffler
AIR hooked up and working, EGR tuned out but in for visual

Contemplating:
Magnaflow directfit cats and the bassani true dual.

Curious about performance change from current setup (same/worse/better) and clearance with this proposed setup. (also have strano springs)

I don't really see you gaining any noticeable power form the exhaust.
Your biggest gain would be to go with a 3200-3600 stall TC.
