Default Arizona Folks come on in!

I will be taking my family on a trip to Arizona in a little while, Mesa to be exact.

Can you suggest any must see things for us to check out? We are going to check out the Grand Canyon, and possibly go to see the Hoover Dam.

With all there is to see around there it is hard to narrow it down. So if you have some ideas for us on things we really should check out please let me know.

Thx.

I've been to the Hoover dam. I saw it on the way back from Vegas. I'll tell you right now it is a far *** drive, like 4-4 1/2 hrs is what it felt like. And depending on where at the Grand Canyon you're going that's about a 3 1/2-4 hr drive. I would also check out Sedona, the red rocks are pretty awesome. I live in Gilbert which is right next to Mesa depending on where you'll be.

We have the Grand Canyon, Sedona, sea life aquarium, tombstone, apache trail on our radar for the trip, hoping to squeeze a few other places in too!

I'm down south here in Sierra Vista. If you are going to check out Tombstone, you should also check out one of the subterrainian sites too. The Copper mine in Bisbee, Copper mine in Tombstone, the Colossal Cave or Katchner Caverns are the ones close to here.

Im in Sedona atm, place is amazing! We are going to rent a jeep tomorrow and go on some trails, take our little girl to slide rock, and then not sure what else. We will have to check out Walnut canyon on our way further up north.

The Desert Botanical Gardens are really cool to see. It's located near the Phoenix Zoo.
