Im located in moreno valley and I have one. Its not bad but will take some time to get the hang of it. Why are you switching and is it going on a DD?

edit: If you are running skinnies on the front you will be fine. If you plan on running street tires forget it. Skinnies will still require some work but its not too bad.

If you want to see what it feels like before you do it. Take your car to the parking lot at night and shut the car off while its moving... try making a couple turns w/ 245-275 fronts. I think you'll change your mind.

Manual racks are kind of cool, but for a DD it WILL get tiring.

I have a manual rack in my car, and while I do not daily drive mine, I will say that I have street driven it some, and it is not too bad at all. Unless you are a sissy girl, and then it might get tiring.

Honestly if your car isn't making incredible power it's not worth it to lose it. There are 9 second cars with ac and power steering. I think it's like if your building it for max power fastest time go for it. Daily driving why bother for equivocate to what at best 1/100 of a second

Got the PS pump out of the way after 3 Hose changes & 1000 leaks or so....

I'm going for a manual steering also & would love to daily drive it with 17x4 or 17x5 Wheels but skeptical like the OP on how drivable would it be.

Currently no PS pump OEM Rack with Joint Oil Lines & been running a year,
daily driving it with 17x9.5 255/50/17 tires :bump:
one more year driving this & I might become the Pluto Character from Popeye.

Those 9sec cars I'm sure aren't on the motor though so its easy for them to have all the front accessories working
