My catfish won't pass because it keeps throwing a P0446 code, which I keep clearing, which clears the drive history which causes the smog test computer to reject it and refuse to start a test.

Rather than get the evap line issue fixed, which I realize would be the logical way to go, I need to fake a pass like now because I have several fixit tickets pending, including a $566 one for "modified emissions."

My guy can't pass it. I'm in the northwest valley area but I'm willing to drive as far as I have to.

The key is to go to a meet or find some other ls1 tech guys at the races and ask in person. No one is going to post that **** online or in a few weeks none more will exist

Once your car has been pegged as a "smog fail" I don't think that anybody in their right mind will touch that thing for a cert.

It hasn't failed a test yet. It hasn't even blown into the sniffer yet, which I'm sure won't be a problem once it gets to that, because the computer can't start a test at all if the initial OBDII test shows that some of the sensors (cat & evap) aren't ready. Also, since it doesn't have CA plates yet, it's not in their system at all anyway. All I need is a paper with my VIN on it that says I passed--I don't think the electronic transmittal thing they do with renewals works if the car isn't and has never been registered in CA.

This is not the place. What you are asking for is ILLEGAL and is punishable by imprisonment and or a fine. To answer your question before you ask. I am far from being a police officer or associated with law enforcement in any way.

I know shops that know people. I don't know people. My car passes smog. You can't just walk into a shop and be like oh I'm here for an illegal smog and they will do it. You have to have someone they trust do it for you. If your in need of one ASAP your pretty much fucked
