Default California smog emissions

Hi, I'm looking at a 2002 WS6 very nice and clean factory original zero modifications with just over 70k miles on it , I live in California the car was first sold In Texas and has lived and registered in Nevada for the last 9 years. Will this car confirm to California smog emission ? thanks in advance for any advise.

I've brought two Trans Ams into California ('84 & '95) from out of state with no issues getting smogged. As long as the car is stock like you say you should have no trouble.

During your initial inspection for issuance of a CA title, the inspector will note that it has 49-state certification, but that's all. The car will pass smog in stock form just fine.

I believe if stock, it should be ok. What part of the Nanny state are you in?
