If you want to check out the job that he did on my V I'm pretty local to the north Long Beach / Lakewood area.
BTW, Tom is no longer at SAM, but is now at Izzy's in Gardena.
He's going to be doing my upper pulley swap & a tune.

Yes Nate knows Tom is no longer at SAM. Good luck to you with your 700rwhp goal.

Yes. Averaged 2 tunes per week(if that). Out of those two tunes odds are high that they would return the following week with major issues. Aside from Nates car and Steve's Ctsv(both cars had to be back and tuned over as well). What vehicles did he tune? Your turbo Camaro he screwed that up. My TBSS was running like crap until someone else tuned it. Don't get me started on that CTSV wagon.

I guess it is true they ran his *** out of nebraska for being the same fraud he's claiming to be out here.

Many thanks for the best wishes on my 700 goal, but I have sort of backed off a little. Between the pulley upgrade & Tom's tune Tom thinks that he can bring me about 70 RWHP and whether I need it or not, I've become somewhat of a RWHP-RWTQ ****.
by any chance are you the Camaro owner with about 725 RWHP that I met at Fantastic Burger a few months back?
I was previously considering corn (E-85) but there just aren't enough stations around & it is pricey to do it right.

OK, I will keep everybody informed of my success or lack of it but who would you suggest for the upper pulley, idler, belt install & the tune?

Sounds like a simple job. Have you tried CMS? Do some digging around on Tom and you'll find enough dirt to find out why he's been shop hopping from state to state.

Yeah I'm glad I didn't take my new car to him, seems like he can't tune auto cars and ends up burning them up instead!

Best detailer is Dave @ Innovative Detailing.

Search for him in the Corvette Forum, he's very familiar with Vettes. He mostly does high end stuff (Ferrari, Lambo)

(714) 715-9397

Tell him Jeremy from Valvoline sent you.

On 06-20-14 I contacted Ton Vanvugt at Izzy Performance Dyno & Tuning located at17305 South Main, Gardena, CA, 90248. I gave Izzy a $ 350.00 deposit so that Tom could order the necessary parts & Izzy asked me if I wanted a receipt & I said yes. Tom told me maybe middle of the next week (06-23-14 thru 06-29-14) they could do the installation of a smaller upper pulley, idler, & belt, & a new tune.
I called Tom on Monday, 06-24-14 to see if he had ordered the parts & was put on “full mail box”. I called Tom on Tuesday, 06-25-14 and again was put on “full mail box”. I called Tom 0n Wed, on 06-26-14 and was told by Tom “waiting on parts, maybe install next week”. I called Tom on 07-02-14 and received the infamous “mail box full”. I called Izzy on Wed, 07-03-14 and was told that Tom was on vacation for a week in Colorado, & that Tom would be back on Mon, 07-07-14. I asked Izzy if my parts were in and he said that he was pretty sure that they were in the warehouse. I told him that I would like to know for sure and he said that they were still waiting on the belt. I called Tom on Tuesday, 07-08-14, and again was put on “mail box full” so I drove over there to see him and was told that they were waiting on the belt. I told Tom at that time that I would like the parts to take elsewhere or my money back, and that I would accept $325 of the original $350 & they could keep $25 for re-shelving.
I called Tom on Fri, 07-11-14, and he told me that he would find out what’s going on and call me back that day.
Today is Thurs, 07-17-41, and I am still waiting on that call. I called both Tom & Izzy this AM, and received the infamous “mailbox full. Click”. Where do I initiate/file a “small claims court”?.
I am off the Ryne at CMS soon.
Deja vu
