Default paddle shifter or stick shift?

I'd prefer a stick shift. I like corner-carving in my SS and steering left and right seems kinda hard to find the paddles.

That's funny. Never thought about that. It still uses a torque converter. Most Tiptronic implementations still make some shifts automatically, primarily to protect the engine and transmission. Even in Tiptronic mode, it will automaticly upshift if you get too close to the red line. And downshift automatically when you slow so not too bog the engine. I just don't see any fun there.

A true paddle shifting manual is the best, ask any who tracks their car. It's not just a gimick ferrari and everyone else uses it shift faster then a person with a manual and does rev matching so the driver can focus on braking and the line...yeah it works. Plus look at SCCA and NASA to run a sequential manual with it be with a shifter or flappy paddles you have to add points. Food for thought I do like to pick my own gears but whatever gets me from start to finish faster sign me the hell up...twice.
